Mitalee Ponders.

Mitalee, " LP bought these battery operated candles because of the kittenbabies. She was nervous they would stick their kittenbaby faces in the flame and get burned with regular candles. Esme and I would never do anything like that at any age! That was way back then though. The kittenbabies are all grown up now."

Mitalee , " Maybe we should stop calling them kittenbabies since they tend to be a bit babyish for their age because we treat them as if they are still kittens!"

Mitalee, " I will explain to LP that Levon and Malou are big cats now and that they are no longer babies!"

Mitalee, " I don't think she will believe me though. She always says we are her babies and she includes me when she says babies. And come to think of it. . . I like that!"

Have a great day!
See you soon.

  3. Our mum understands yours very well ! And your mom is right for being careful with candles : our Angel Hercule was an adult cat since years the day he put his tail into fire because he was too close to the candle. Another time, he curled his eyebrows by looking at the flame, and then, irritated, he knocked it with his paw ! Mum was just beside him, and no kitty was hurt, but you never know.... Purrs

  4. Hi Mitalee,
Our Mom has the same type of candles.
She calls us her "babies", too.
We think it is because she is twiterpated with us.

  5. your Mom is smart. My Angel Bobo once singed his tail on a candle I had lit. He stood on the table where it was and his tail went in it...thankfully he AND his tail were perfectly fine but I learned a valuable lesson! xoxo

  12. Aw, Mitalee, you are all sweet kittenbabies... you should enjoy it just like you are when your mama calls you that.

  13. We agree, being kitten babies is a GOOD thing. It certainly is at our house, anyway. :)

  16. Of course, you are all her babies. Mommy wants to tell you a story. When she and our dad got married he was 26. They lived in Kansas City at the time, but went to CA ,where they grew up, to get married. When our dad's mom arrived at Mom's parents house, she immediately squealed, "Where's my baby?" 17. The Mom calls us her babies too, even though the youngest of us is over 2 years old. But we agree with you, Mitalee -- we like being the babies :)
