Helping to rearrange.

Levon , " Hmmm.I think LP would appreciate my moving that somewhere else. I wonder if I can reach it?!"

Levon , " Oh hey! You caught me helping LP do a bit of reorganising."

Levon, " I know she finds me to be exceptionally helpful! She doesn't even have to ask!"

Levon , " See the tunnel behind me? I rolled that out from another room. And did you notice the blanket on the floor by my left? I put it there."

Levon , " I often wonder what LP would do without me. My redistributing skills are truly phenomenal!"

Have a Fabulous Friday and weekend!
See you Monday.

A Slice of Life?

Malou and Levon , " Last week LP went to the grocery store on her bicycle to pick up a few things. On her way back people waved and smiled at her as she rode by . When she arrived home she understood all the smiles directed her way when she dismounted from her bike."

Levon , " Gee! I'm sure glad I wasn't the avocado that fell through her grocery bag!"

Have a great day!
See you soon.

What a difference a day makes!

Esme , " Last night it snowed! Can you see the snow heavy on the trees behind me?"

Esme , " The snow falling last night , looked like a Christmas card. "

Esme, " This is what the  street we live on looked like by morning!"

Esme , " The tree tops are now heavy with snow."

Esme , " No! This is not an elephant foot! It is the moss covered base of a tree on our street. Moss with snow on it in looks odd (yet lovely) in Vancouver. We don't see that often!"

Esme , " Our neighbourhood park is now a winter wonderland!"

Esme , " If you biggify this photo, you will see the faint outline of a swing set between the towering trees in our park."

Duffy, " That's where Issa and I took refuge this morning! On the swings!"

Issa , " The snow is very cold on our little, tender toes!"

Issa and Duffy, "Um. Hello?! Can someone carry us home?! And Mother Nature, can you lay off the catnip and drink?! You are sending snow months after the reasonable time limit ,and you are sending it to a usually rainy city that rarely sees snow! Our crocuses were blooming! Indignant neighbourhood birds are letting us know through their nettled birdsong , that you need to send some sun and melt this beautiful mess before you cause some very big problems! And that should be pronto! Love Issa and Duffy. Your neighbourhood watch. Over and out."

Have a Terrific Tuesday.
See you soon.

Wind , Wags, and Snow Geese.

                                              * Click all photos to biggify if you like*
Issa , " We went to one of our favourite parks. It was warm out but very windy!"

Issa , " Here in the open space , the wind tossed my ears around like dancers dancing the cha-cha."

Issa , " When my ears stopped dancing , I decided to go to a platform where I had a bettter view of the geese."

Issa , " The snow geese are here for the winter months and they frequent this park as their winter home."

Duffy, " We are very well behaved in front of the snow geese!"

Issa and Duffy, " We use our eyes but not our mouths! And absolutely no chasing or moving from our fixed spots!"

Duffy, " But we can lick our chops!"

Issa and Duffy, " Hundreds of snow geese come to Vancouver , Canada every winter."

Issa and Duffy, " Aren't they fantastical and spellbinding? Like magical characters found in fairy tales of days of old. "

Issa , " Did you notice what the plaque on the bench where my ears danced , read? " And I say to myself , it's a wonderful world."

Have a Marvelous Monday.
See you soon.

King Leo.

Leo , " I am on my cat tree enjoying some sunshine today."

Leo , "Mmmm. It feels wonderful!  I am feeling well these days!"

Leo , " Shhhh. . .  don't tell LP! I have been playing on her sympathies since I had the two tumours removed from between my shoulder blades. I want her to continue feeding me all sorts of tasty delectables since she frets about "keeping my weight up". She also placed a space heater right by my bed. And she placed a heating pad in my favourite basket. I don't want these considerations to disappear! Ever!"

Leo , " I just thought of something! I haven't been out on my balcony in ages! "

Leo , "Thank you for letting me out LP. Don't forget the sun is good for my convalescence! "

Leo , " Sigh.  It's good to be the King of my castle!"

Have a great day!
See you soon.

Cat Grass with Esme.

Esme , " The cat grass in our stool is sprouting or springing up again! It reminds me of Spring springing in all its' lush greenery!"

Esme , " Suddenly my head is full of Spring images. Like these cheerful daffodils."

Esme , " And these powder blue robin eggs."

Esme , " Cat grass, you put a spell on me!"

Esme , " My head is full of sunshine and blue skies now."

Esme , " I can almost see butterflies flitting through your grasses."

Esme , " And is that a little robin I see on a tree branch overhead?!"

 Esme , " I love little robins!"

Esme , " Cat grass, I am going to sit by your magical greenery as the rain echos on my rooftop."

Esme , " And I'm going to dream about that cheerful, darling robin and I'm going to pretend that. . . ."
