Happy Lunar New Year of The Horse!

LP, " It is the Year of the Horse this lunar new year."

LP, " Last night we went into Daddyman's family and we blessed and symbolically offered food to the ancestors and then ate together. Later, we exchanged little red envelopes of money."

LP, " The red envelopes are called Lisee. The red represents good luck and is meant to ward off evil spirits. The money inside the envelope needs to be in even numbers in order to bring good luck to the recipient."

Mitalee , " LP plans to spend her good luck money on cat treats for us."

Issa and Duffy, " And she plans to also spend her good luck money on dog treats for us!"

Leo's Long and Winding Road.

Leo , " Hi friends. I wanted to thank all of you for keeping me in your thoughts these past near three weeks. You helped keep me strong! I didn't want to give you a personal update until I knew I had made it home from my long and winding road to a complete recovery. You see, many of our blogging friends  have left us recently and others are not faring well and I didn't want to worry anyone unnecessarily or make them feel too sad. But to be honest, I had a few issues on my road to recovery. I wouldn't eat for quite some time. But now I am eating! I had a cold. But now I am better! The tootsie rolls (don't make me spell it out!) wouldn't drop. But now they are dropping! My wounds were infected but my stitches are out now and all looks healed and well. I will show you my wounds in a photo below. This is what they looked like when I first came home from the vet's. Do not look if you are squeamish. They look a bit grim!"

                                                       A little grim.

Leo, " You wouldn't even know that I had been wounded, stitched and sewn when you see me from this angle , right? I am showing you my wounds in case one of you ever goes through something like this. You will be encouraged to know that things do get better! Look at my wounds almost three weeks later just before the stitches were removed!"

Leo, " They look much better do they not?!! Much less grim!"

Leo , " My stitches were removed at the vet's yesterday. Of course I had to be sedated since Big Fang would have otherwise given a roar or two and scared the pants off the vet. That would have been funny. . .  a pantless vet!"

Leo , " Anyway, the vet said he was pleased with my recovery now and that I was doing well for an older gentleman.I think the long and winding road to recovery has finally led me home and that is exactly where I plan to stay for a very long while.Thank you again for all your concern and kind words. Excuse me please ,  I should continue to rest and get stronger. ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz."

Have a Great Day!
See you soon.

Malou Posing.

Malou , " LP is always placing vases and other such obstructions on my posing surfaces."

Malou , " This vase for example , is hindering the potentially clean lines of my pose."

Malou , " I am being stonewalled by a vase!"

Malou , " Here is my best pose. Just pretend the vase is not thwarting the effect of my statuesque beauty!"

The Dead of Winter with Lambie and Levon.

Levon , " It is the dead of winter here in Vancouver."

Levon, " That means the rain is falling outside like never ending cold and stinging water pellets."

Levon , " It's wonderful to be inside! I am a sleepyhead on Lambie's soft and curly head."

Levon , " It's warm and cosy here. I  feel my eyelids growing heavy."

Levon , " I shall take a nap while the rain drops keep falling on my roof top and I will dream of  talking to the sun . . . and I'll tell him he has been sleeping on the job. . . and that that is bothering me. Maybe he will try harder after our talk."

More on Leo with Levon.

Levon, " For those of you who have been inquiring , today is my turn to give you a current Leo update."

Levon, " Leo has had a few ups and downs this week during his recovery. The good news is that he is eating a bit more with each passing day. He is not eating as much as his gynormous self usually inhales daily , but he has been eating enough recently to keep us all happy and optimistic in the face of his recovery!"

Levon , " Leo might be up to doing a post himself next week if we keep sending him all those good thoughts and vibes! In the mean time , I will encourage him to get stronger and stronger myself. Afterall , I AM the little brofur and I take my supportive role very seriously!"

Have a Fabulous Friday and weekend!
See you Monday.
