A Walk Towards Autumn.

Isadora and Duffy, " We went on a lovely walk."

Isadora and Duffy, " The sun was bright but the air was cool."

Isadora and Duffy, " There are acres upon acres of bulrushes on this walk. Bulrushes are tall reed like water plants. They can grow to over ten feet high."

Isadora and Duffy, " Since Autumn will soon be here, the bulrushes have matured and exploded, shedding large quantities of down , that look like feathers blowing in the wind."

Isadora and Duffy, " The tall green grasses have now changed colour. We are taking a walk towards Autumn."

Isadora and Duffy , " But we did manage to find a single , wild rose stubbornly reluctant to let summer go."

Isadora and Duffy, " As well as a few berries that the birds had yet to find and pluck!"

Isadora, " Autumn showed its' face here , there and almost everywhere as we enjoyed the cooler weather on our walk . Do you see signs of Autumn in your neck of the woods yet?"

Have a Fabulous Friday and weekend!
See you Monday.

  3. Querida Isadora, nós estamos caminhando para a primavera, mas confesso que eu amo o outono porque ele traz o alívio depois do calor do verão.
    Aproveitem os dias bonitos!

  4. Well, our autumn isn't nearly as pronounced, nor as pretty as yours! We especially found the bulrushes interesting as there are none here!
as far as signs of autumn? Would mommy jumping up and down this morning, exclaiming! "Yes! I can wear BOOTS today" count? Heee!

  6. So fun to see you two on your walk. What a lovely day you had. It rained here all day as it has for much of the summer. We have a roof over our Catio, so we don't mind. The gloomy weather makes Mom grumpy, and we do not like that. Glad you had a great day. Hope you will join us tomorrow for our Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. 8. What a lovely autumn walk you had! Wonderful!

It is coming here, too. A couple of nights ago our night time low as 39'F. Burr... Snow might come as soon as the end of October if that is the trend. Winter is not far away for us.

Love to all at the Cottage,
    Lily

    Hugs!

  12. Such beautiful scenery! No signs of autumn here, other than it starting to get darker earlier. It is still in the 90s though! Looking forward to some cooler weather. You guys enjoy!
