Wind , Wags, and Snow Geese.

 Issa , " We went to one of our favourite parks. It was warm out but very windy!"










 Issa , " Here in the open space , the wind tossed my ears around like dancers dancing the cha-cha."











 Issa , " When my ears stopped dancing , I decided to go to a platform where I had a bettter view of the geese."










 Issa , " The snow geese are here for the winter months and they frequent this park as their winter home."










 Duffy, " We are very well behaved in front of the snow geese!"











 Issa and Duffy, " We use our eyes but not our mouths! And absolutely no chasing or moving from our fixed spots!"










 Duffy, " But we can lick our chops!"











Issa and Duffy, " Hundreds of snow geese come to Vancouver , Canada every winter."

















 Issa and Duffy, " Aren't they fantastical and spellbinding? Like magical characters found in fairy tales of days of old. "








Issa , " Did you notice what the plaque on the bench where my ears danced , read? " And I say to myself , it's a wonderful world."

    And those snow geese...not something we see here. Lots of Canada geese, though.

  4. Good thing you didn't chase those geese--they can be mean if they have babies! We're glad you got to enjoy some time outdoors. We're back to cold weather. At least we don't have any snow now.

  12. Oh Wow! That park looks familiar! Mes thinks that Mommy used to walk our hairy slobbery sister Kokanee when we lived in Vancouver!
