What a difference a day makes!

Esme , " Last night it snowed! Can you see the snow heavy on the trees behind me?"

Esme , " The snow falling last night , looked like a Christmas card. "

Esme, " This is what the  street we live on looked like by morning!"

Esme , " The tree tops are now heavy with snow."

Esme , " No! This is not an elephant foot! It is the moss covered base of a tree on our street. Moss with snow on it in looks odd (yet lovely) in Vancouver. We don't see that often!"

Esme , " Our neighbourhood park is now a winter wonderland!"

Esme , " If you biggify this photo, you will see the faint outline of a swing set between the towering trees in our park."

Duffy, " That's where Issa and I took refuge this morning! On the swings!"

Issa , " The snow is very cold on our little, tender toes!"

Issa and Duffy, "Um. Hello?! Can someone carry us home?! And Mother Nature, can you lay off the catnip and drink?! You are sending snow months after the reasonable time limit ,and you are sending it to a usually rainy city that rarely sees snow! Our crocuses were blooming! Indignant neighbourhood birds are letting us know through their nettled birdsong , that you need to send some sun and melt this beautiful mess before you cause some very big problems! And that should be pronto! Love Issa and Duffy. Your neighbourhood watch. Over and out."

Have a Terrific Tuesday.
See you soon.

  3. It looks so pretty everywhere but we know however pretty it is it's freezing cold on paws, ears and noses. The humans moan about having to dig snow off driveways totally ignoring the wonderful exercise it gives them! We hope it melts soon for you.

  7. Oh you two have a serious case of the cutes! However that snow sure is not cute. We are glad you got some nice weather for your walk yesterday before this hit. We thinks that LP should give you both a footie massage to warm up those toesies of yours!

  9. Winter is never going to end we fear. Our last snow was 2/13, but we still have some on the ground. Hope yours melts very fast. Duffy Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Joand Issa look adorable in that swing. Hope they got carried home and had their toes warmed up.
