Mitalee and the last of our flowers.

Mitalee , " I am lying in the Forever Christmas Box. LP has covered it in jute or gunny cloth .  It makes the box look more Autumn -like even though all the used Christmas wrapping paper is still under the cloth."

Mitalee , " I wanted to tell you that our rose bush suddenly and valiantly grew a few more blossoms as a last , final tribute to summer."

Mitalee , " It's starting to get cold out now and the rainy season has begun in Vancouver. It's nice and warm inside though, in my comfy , jute cloth covered box."

Mitalee , " I can feel my eyes starting to close . I feel very cosy here."

Mitalee , " But before I fall asleep , I'll tell you about the dahlias. They continue to bloom despite the rain and cold. Aren't they lovely?!"

Mitalee , " And this clematis has delicately made an entrance as well in spite of the rain and cold. They should all be as lucky as I am. . .  tucked away in my warm box.""

Mitalee , " Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz."

Have a Fabulous Friday and weekend!
See you Monday.

Have a snuggly nap, Mitalee. I think I'll take a nap, too, as soon as the human goes to the Laundromat :)

Thanks for sharing the flower pics - how I wish in many ways we could turn back the clock to Spring!

  11. Mitalee, you do look as cosy (and pampered!) as any house kitty could possibly be. And those late flowers are lovely. We, too, had some that were hanging on and still blooming, but we had a hard frost early this week and overnight that killed just about everything. Ah, Spring...Only 5 - 6 months away for those of us in Ontario. LOL.

Thank you so much for stopping by, for the comment. I honestly don't remember what "blissful" in my own home feels like. I won't even describe my state of being; suffice to say that the neighbour noise/issues, coupled with pre-menopausal hormonal rage (and I do mean rage--irrational and almost uncontrollable), I've been ugly, ugly, ugly for a long time. I'm used up, have nothing left--or so it too often feels. I will be absolutely crushed if Dad has wasted his money, if I don't get the 75-80% (at least) improvement expected from the product.

So I sincerely hope that this time next week, while still surrounded by mess (not expected to be done), I will NOT be hearing my neighbours stomp around, or hearing something drop on the floor, or hear them in the upper hall, or scream, etc.

Thanks so much again and hugs and Light!

  16. Mitalee, we bet those flowers wish they were all warm and cozy like you, too!!

Our rose bushes did the same this week.
Such beautiful last bits of color before *shudder* WINTER. We'll hang onto them as long as we can!!
