Thankful for Gardens.

Mitalee , " So . . . You Know Who drags me out of bed and tells me I am to host the garden post today since I haven't been on the blog for some time now. Did you get a look at my furs?! I have to appear on National Bloggie without even being given time to fix my furs! Gah!"

Mitalee, " Alrighty then. Let's move on to the garden . . . no use dwelling on the obvious! We have put  all our bird houses and feeders out now and the garden is aflutter with , Goldfinches, House Finches, Purple Finches, Pine Siskins and even Hummingbirds!

Mitalee , " Here is one of  the Hummingbird feeders waiting for a few guests to arrive."

Mitalee, " We have a few flowers here and there , slowly appearing in the garden."

Mitalee , " A pretty pink dahlia."

Mitalee , " Oh. And I'm supposed to tell you about the lavender tree!"

Mitalee , " We planted a dwarf lavender tree in the catnip bushel Tulip loved so much. It smells delectably sweet and blooms at this time of the year. When it blooms each Spring , we will be reminded of our sweet Tulip."

Mitalee, " This is a Royal Geranium whose bloom is larger than the average geranium. It is hardy and LP likes hardy plants!"

Mitalee, " Can you see the tiny Pine Siskin at the foot of our lavender clematis flower? Doesn't it look adorable?"

Mitalee, " If that Pine Siskin isn't careful, I'll have to fry him up for breakfast alongside a nice , healthy sprinkling of catnip! Oh dear , me and my furs really did get up on the wrong side of the bed today. . . I think I feel a nap coming on to take the edge off my bite! "

We hope you enjoyed the tour of our garden.
Have a great day!
See you soon.

  4. Mitalee our Mum has gone all gaga looking at your pretty face - she thinks the tousled fur look is lovely. What a cute humming bird feeder - we've never seen a humming bird in real life.

  5. We love our mommy's gardens. She has so many things blooming right now, and we can smell the irises and dianthes from our screened deck. This is mom's favorite time when everything is in bloom so we can depend on her being pretty happy. Yippee! It's been raining bunches before now, and she's been really snarky. Enjoy all the pretties, but OMC take care of your furs! Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

  6. The nerve of them dragging you out for a presentation tour without time to groom! Regardless, we think you did a great job and your garden is beautiful. We especially like the tiny bird after biggifying to see it :)

  9. You look fine. Really you do. And you're lucky to have a garden to tour. Jan manages to kill anything remotely green.
