Black and White Edition .

LP, " I thought I would post a few pics of  the lovely white flowers scattered throughout our garden today since I have been negligent about my Thursday garden posts this summer! I always find a little black tossed alongside white always adds a little something, something , which is why I'm also throwing in a few pics of Malou for your enjoyment  :)  "

LP, " I planted this lily in a pot and put it out on an outdoor windowsill not expecting much to happen but it has bloomed three times! "

Malou , " It does look lovely! "

LP, " Our magnolia tree was late to bloom this year but now there are so many blooms and buds they can't be counted! "

Malou , " Magnolia blooms smell delicious too. We put them in shallow bowls with water and their heady scent fills the entire room! "

LP, " These are some of the dahlias I grew from tubers. It has been a wondrous thrill to watch them grow and bloom. "

Malou , " Those dahlia blooms are bigger than all of me put together ! "

LP, " I call these , " pretty white flowers " because I can't remember their names. . .  "

Malou , " Don't ask me! I don't have a green paw at all! "

LP, " These are easy to care for petunias and little wild flowers. Pretty and fresh."

Malou , " I like how LP is always complimenting me. Pretty and fresh. So sweet of her! "

LP , " Daisies after a cool spray from the hose. More pretty and fresh! "

Malou , " Thanks for dropping by! We hope you liked our Black and White Edition. Oh. And one more thing...Happy Birthday Dominique! That's LP's big sister. We hope your special day is as special as you are! Hugs, head bumps, purrs, tail wags and love from all of us. XO "

Have a Fabulous Friday!
See you Monday.

  1. Malou our Mum has brown fingers not green ones like yours! We love your pretty flowers and they are just the right background to show off your lovely dark furs.
Have a happy and fun weekend.

  4. What a simply lovely post you have here today! B&W what could be more classic. The white flower is summer Phlox...the lily is Casa Blanca...so pretty but be careful around kitties as it is very toxic. we grow that one too and it smells like heaven....sending hugs to all from the cozy cottage of Miss Hunny Bunny

  8. Commentator Malou did a wonderful job identifying those beautiful flowers! We have a soft spot for dahlias ourselves. All of yours are gorgeous!

  11. We have to be honest. When we saw the title, we were expecting Levon. How lovely that there were pretty white flowers and Miss Malou, instead. We like Levon, we really do, but he can be such a silly boy! Malou has dignity, in spades (no, that was not a black joke). Black kitties are our favorite.

  12. FaRADaY: Mowzers, Malou, you don't have a green paw either?

Allie: *giggle* So nice to meet you - we saw you mentioned on Marg's blog! *wiggles pink paw*

Maxwell: Those sure are some pretty white photos of stuff LP is growing!

  13. Malou, you are gorgeous as always. You are helping with the plants, so nice of you, that is what we do as well. Sometimes that involves eating them. Our Mom is very envious of LP's beautiful flowers, they are very, very impressive.
