LP, " I was starting to think it was a little odd that the kittenbabies seemed to be so " ground ridden ". Meaning , they seemed to prefer being on the floor at all times rather than jumping way up high onto things. Any things. Cats in general are climbers as you all well know but devon rexes are especially known to have a reputation as athletic cats known to like great heights. Alot . Esme was jumping onto door frames and room dividers at the tender age of four months and Lewis' favourite hangout at a mere three months was the top of the fridge where he had his "throne" and where he took his long afternoon naps . So why hadn't the kittenbabies ever reached these heights I wondered . They seemed to prefer the ground . To be honest , I was a bit relieved . The kitten babies wreak havoc as it is . . . I couldn't imagine them climbing to get to their desired object(s) of fascination . And then , last week quite suddenly it would seem , the kittenbabies started reaching new heights . Gulp. Here are a few pics I managed to capture for you .
LP, " And from there , up to the highest cabinet in the kitchen ; which was once one of Lewis' favourite haunts :) "
LP, " Malou is the daredevil of the two. She finds the adventures and Levon is a more than willing partner in crime . Here she is on the stove fan ."
Malou , " Where do you think I am now ? "
Malou , " On a beam in the entranceway . Levon was too chicken to follow me up here ! "
LP , " Later I found Malou sound asleep on top of the stove fan . I guess all that climbing made her dog-weary . . . or . . . cat-weary ! :) What are your favourite "high spots " ? "
Have a great day!
See you soon.
