The Last of The Snow .

LP, " For those of you who have been visiting regularly , it is no secret that Daddyman and I love birds. We love to go bird watching and when we first met, this activity often filled our dance card . Lately we have been watching the Snowy Owls and the Snow Geese. Both these species of birds are now beginning to leave the Vancouver area .The Snow Geese are on their way back to the Arctic and Siberia and the Snowy Owls are on their way back to the Arctic. Here are a few pics of both these glorious birds. Some of the images are small but if you use your imagination (and also click on the image itself) you can see how beautiful these birds appear in a natural setting. "

LP , " Can you spot two Snowy Owls on the logs ? "

Issa , " Duffy and I often birdwatch with the hoomans. We are as quiet as mice so as not to disturb the  birds."

Issa , " It's a brilliantly sunny day. A perfect day to see the Snow Geese ."

Duffy , " We can hear them too. Honk! Honk! Honk! "

Issa ,  " We can see them in the distance as well ."

Issa and Duffy , " Wow ! "

Issa , " There they go ! "

Issa and Duffy ,  " Safe journey. "

Have a terrific Tuesday!
See you soon.

  6. Oh,Mommy would LOVE to see those birds!

  7. We've never seen snow owls like that! What an awesome sight!!

  8. Wow, we've never seen snowy owls in the wild before! They are beautiful. We did see snow geese in Quebec ... amazing, and your pictures were a nice reminder of how stunning it was to see them all together like that. :)

Thank you, by the way, for stopping by to wish Mom Tracey a happy birthday! Sadly, we didn’t have a great turnout at the senior cat Sunday event, but this was the first time PAWS tried it. The shelter director DID say that they will definitely do this event again, because we know there are loving homes out there for these wonderful and amazing older cats. :)

  9. Those snowy owls are gorgeous, how special! Dem doggies are pretty cute too!

  10. Cool pics! I love birds to, especially owls!

    XO K:)
