Bunny Beach .

LP, " There is a beach not too far from where we live whose hillsides are dotted with rabbits -not hares which are indigenous to Canadian wildlife. These rabbits are the product of irresponsible owners who grew tired of them and then set them free. Since they are not neutered or spayed they are prolific. They are healthy and well fed by caring park goers and are thriving in our mild climate but are not living in the safety of family life.Their numbers and well being will no doubt be a problem in the future but in the meantime, they are lovely to watch hippity hopping on the bunny beach."

Duffy , " I wonder if any of those beach bunnies would like to be my friend ?! "

Issa , " After we bunny watched we counted the seagulls on the dock. Later we admired the view , then we reluctantly went home ."

Have a wonderful day and weekend!
See you Monday.

  1. Well, this makes us sad. You know we have a bunny, Lulu, who was also unwanted. She is so sweet and happy and loving now that she is with us and feels loved. This just drives us crazy that people think they can just throw bunnies away. These are house bunnies and they deserve homes just like cats and dogs.

They are beautiful and you are right there will soon be more ...poor babies.

    Your pal, Pip

  6. Those poor bunnies! People are pretty dumb sometimes...around here small pets don't often make it because of the coyotes. We're glad they have folks caring for them.

  7. Poor bunnies!!! Poeple can be so thoughtless. The mind boggles about the number of rabbits in the not so distant future on the beach.

  8. Those bunnies look so cute! I am sad that people abandoned them, I'll bet the bunnies would prefer to have a happy home.

  9. Those bunnies are adorable, but the people who abandoned them there should be ashamed of themselves. Poor little bunnies. :(
