Thursday in the garden.

                                                                    : : meowwww : :

Leo , " LP thought it would be interesting for you to see her friend's garden , so I get to lounge about and snooze in my garden throne today while she gives you the tour . Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz."

LP , " My friend also lives in Vancouver. She has two gardens ; one is a shade garden in the back of her house and the second one is a sun garden in the front of her house. Her back garden has this wall which is entirely covered in ivy."

LP, " She has little miniature eco systems like this one throughout her garden."

LP, " This pond has about forty fish but you can't see them in the pic because pond lilies shield them from herons who love to dive for them to ingest as tasty treats!"

LP, " There is birdsong in this garden largely due to the bird feeders that are hung here and there which in turn attract songbirds."

LP, " There are also inviting birdhouses placed throughout the garden. This one is my favourite."

LP ," Many Vancouver gardens have these large ferns growing in them (ours does too!).  Ferns thrive on the westcoast of Canada during the winter months since they love rain , damp soil and a lack of sun."

LP, " The front garden has been sectioned off to grow produce, much of which has already been picked as summer all too soon becomes a word of the past."

LP, " Still flowers continue to bloom. Some flowers will continue to bloom even throughout the winter months."

We hope you enjoyed a glimpse into another garden here in Vancouver.
Have a great day!
See you soon.

  6. Your friend's garden is simply amazing! Of course, you have better weather for all kinds of growing things where you live. Some of the most beautiful gardens in the world are on the west coast!

I just Leo thought the tour was a bit of a snore, or maybe he's just used to it. LOL!
