First Stop .

LP , " We were in southern Ontario for a few weeks to visit friends and family. Our first stop was just outside of Ottawa , the capital of Canada , to visit our friend who throws pots for a living. We have been friends for over twenty-five years."

Here is my friend in his back yard looking through a periscope his partner built. It depicts birds found on the tundra in Nunavut where he works as a landscape architect.

Southern Ontario has a lot of canals , rivers and lakes. In my friend's town there are mills such as this one which have been converted into condos. This used to be a wool mill.

We had lunch overlooking this canal.

Here are some pots my friend is working on for an exhibit in Quebec. They still need to be fired in the kiln , drawn on and the slip work added.

Here are examples of his smaller , completed pots.

My friend and his partner have a dog named Olive. Here she is waiting on our dinner.

Olive enjoyed my visit as much as I enjoyed being there.

Olive, " Come back to visit soon ! "
